Travel Journal

The April Challenge at the MemoryWorks Studio,
for consultants,
is to create a travel journal.
I had so much fun making this one I thought I'd share how I did it.
I started with an inexpensive spiral notebook with pockets from
Family Dollar.
I was impressed with the sturdy pockets, liked the calendar on the inside front cover and liked having space to write on each page.  The orginial had some photos which I JUST HAD to cover with patterned paper!
Here are some before/after photos.

All supplies used are from Pink Paislee House of 3 "Daily Junque" line
patterned paper, journaling card, cardstock pieces, twine and even the stamps
(paper clips from Basic Grey)
I really, really, really like the new Pink Paislee products offered by MemoryWorks this season.
I made another notebook for organizing income and expenses.
I think you could also use these to store cards and write birthday dates on each page since there are twelve pockets.  So many projects, so little time!
Thanks for visiting!
