The challenge at the Kraft Journal blog is to use a sketch.
You can read more about it HERE.
I needed some inspiration to scrap the photos from my daughter's birthday celebration so I turned to
Sassy Lil' Sketches September sketch.
You can find more HERE.
here is my layout:
I've been using Cherie's amazing card sketches but this the first time I tried using a layout sketch.
It really helped me decide what to do!
I used Kraft cardstock for a base and a Kraft tag from
The Kraft Outlet so I can link up to the challenge there.
other supplies:
Patterned paper and CS stickers: Lily Bee Designs "Picket Fence" Collections
stamps: Simple Stories/Unity "Generations"
flowers: Petallo Chantilly Velvet Hydrangeas, Prima Orchard Mix "Rosemary"
buttons: Papertrey Ink
cork: Pink Paislee
ribbons: stash
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in "Frost" and "Fanciful" Glimmer Screens
Thanks for stopping...I'll send a Krafty Kard Kit out to the first person to correctly identify (in the comments section) this Hoosier Historic Landmark in the background (bigger clue tomorrow).

Such a cute blog! Love your title. :) My hubby and I are into the arts & crafts style...dream of living in a bungalow when it's just the two of us again or designing a larger one to live in with the kids. :) LOVE your layout. So beautiful!
Oh my! I just love this layout, Lynn! If it wasn't for sketches, I would never create layouts. I am so happy you were able to capture this memory and create a beautiful layout of your daughter's birthday celebration! Looks like a great time! Thanks for sharing your creation with us at The Kraft Journal!
