A New Class for Me!

I joined a new class and boy am I glad I did! This Pretty Paper Party by Shimelle (see the link on my sidebar) is a blast! There is a daily prompt, class handout that gives ideas for the prompt and several sketches. It is just what I needed to motivate me to get back to scrapping photos and use up my stash of pretty papers that I tend to collect. The first night I did 6 pages in a few hours! That's a lot for me. I started at the beginning but then decided I would try the daily prompts and then when time allows I'll go back to the beginning. So that's how I'll share on my blog. Today's prompt was about adding dimension. I pulled out those pop dots, chunky letters, and layers of chipboard. here is my layout:
For this layout I've mixed elements of Fancy Pants "It's the Little Things" chipboard and Jillibean Soup papers. This class gives you the freedom to mix it up! I'm loving that. Thanks for looking!

Perfect pretty paper for this lovely LO. It's good to record the quilt too... I've made 4 lap quilts and never scrapped any of them. Thanks for the inspiration :)
