"Upcycle" Project

My DD and I recently visited our local
Good Samaritan store and found a few treasures.
I knew I could transform this cute little frame into something new.
I was inspired by the current LESSology blog challenge:
Flights of Fantasy to ink up this sweet fairy stamp from
Here is my upcycled project...

My friend has a shabby chic guest room (mostly for her grandaughter) with these colors so I gave it to her for Valentine's Day.
She loved it and I told her that I upcylced a frame I found at the thrift store.
Then she asked me what the orginal picture was and when I told her she cracked up
because she had just donated it the week before!
I guess it was meant to be in her home after all.

supplies:
paper from Pink Paislee "Hometown Summer" line
Kraft: The Kraft Outletr die: PTI Banner Borders
stamp: The Crafts Meow "Butterfly Wishes"
Petallo and Reminisce flowers
vintage buttons from my stash

Thanks so much for the visit.
Wishing you a fantastic weekend!

LOL, unbelievable that that was originally your friend's frame! What a co-incidence! Love, love, love your transformation, Lynn! Love the sweet fairy image and the adorable gingham paper. The buttons in the corner are fabulous, too. I think this may just be my all-time fave of yours! Thanks so much for playing along with us at LESSology!
