Fab(u)lous Layout

March Madness self-imposed challenge continues...
Shimelle (the instructor of the amazing Pretty Paper class that I took)
 had this interesting post about
scrapbooking "Starting Points"
Read more HERE.
I thought I'd give the layout idea a try with my new
Fab(u)lous Kit from Simple Stories.
Here is my starting point...
Aren't these colors yummy?

I decided to turn my squares a bit to give it a more playful feel.
In the photo the striped paper dominates and makes it look a bit wonky.
I'll have to add a photo there...
I made the layout with absolutely no photos in mind.
Do you ever do that?
Sometimes, I just want to work with new product so much I make the page and then
find photos in my stash that will work with it.
The ribbon is from The Ribbon Carousel, background is American Craft Kraft CS.
Everything else is from the Fabulous kit.
My favorite thing is that border sticker that looks like pieces of Washi tape, so cool!
I hope you come back to see if I can finish this page!  LOL

This is adorable, Lynn! So bright and happy. Love the design. I'm always a fan of a good blocked design. Looking forward to seeing this with photos. :)
