Beach Babes

The challenges at
and
were just the motivation I needed to finish page two of a double-page layout
I started a few weeks ago.
The Color My Heart challenge is to use analogous colors,
colors that are next to each other on the color wheel.
Blue, green and yellow are my favorite analogous colors and they worked well for these photos from when my kiddos were little.
The Heart 2 Heart challenge is to use photos.
I am in the process of re-doing some old albums that have those icky, sticky pages so that challenge helped me get it in gear to get this page done!
Check out these two blogs for inspiration and a challenge if you need it!
all supplies:  Close To My Heart
Patterned paper: Footloose
Cardstock: Sweet Leaf, Lagoon, and Kraft
stamps:
June Stamp of the Month: Life is Tweet & Love Life
ink: Lagoon, Desert Sand, and Sunflower
Paradise Baker's Twine

Aaaahhhh, summertime!
Isn't it grand?

Adorable! I just love these colors, too. And great design here. The torn paper seems so perfect for a beach theme. Makes me think of the water or the edge of the sand. :)
Yes, summertime sure is grand. We've got a few days left of school, and then we'll be joining you in freedom!

Great layout! I like the stamping you added to the solid background color - a very nice touch! Thanks for sharing with us at H2H!
