In an attempt to be more organized in 2013 I created this
monogrammed desk set.
Usually I have about 6 notepads and notebooks with notes, ideas, and sketches included, scattered all over the place.
This year I bought some different notebooks at discount stores and altered each one with a specific purpose in mind.
Calendar to keep track of dates, blog posts, and challenges.
This "idea" book is my favorite. It holds index cards with lines on one side for writing and blank on the other side for sketching.
It came with 3 dividers...I designated one for cards, one for scrapbooking,
and one for altered items.
A girl's gotta have a shopping list!
This will be so much nicer than all the sticky notes I usually have stuck everywhere.
For these projects I used a variety of stamp sets including my Monogram "D" stamp,
Ruby, Chocolate, Outdoor Denim, and Cashmere Inks, along with
paper from the Scholastic Paper Pack
(Close To My Heart).
To check out where I got the inspiration to get going on this project
you can hop on over to my Kraft-y Heart friend Kim's blog,
Kim's altered journal is so bright and cheerful.
Have a good week!

These are beautiful! I have not been a fan of Scholastic (I know, gasp!), but you have changed my mind. I love everything you made!
