Are you ready?
Today I am sharing a sneak peek of one of the new paper
collections featured in the
Spring/Summer 2013 IDEA Book from
Close To My Heart.
I was inspired by this sketch at Retro Sketches.
I tried but I just couldn't tuck my flowers under the sentiment strip.
I didn't want to cover up those pretty blooms!
All supplies: Close To My Heart
paper: Chantilly (a new fave!)
stamps: Hello Blooms
sentiment: Chantilly Workshop On The Go
Ink: Slate and Creme Brulee
Paper flowers, twine buttons, all from my CTMH stash
There is a fun, informative post at Operation Write Home about color.
You can check it out HERE.
Since I used tints and analogous colors I will link this card up there as well.
This is just one project, of many to come, using these pretty Chantilly papers.
Hope you come back for another visit!

Adorable, Lynn! I wouldn't want to cover up any of those beautiful flowers either!
Very pretty card! The colors work well together and the patterned paper is lovely. I also tend to have a hard time doing true analogous combos and often skip a color or two in-between, so I have made up my own harmony that I called "extended" analogous, LOL. :)
This is so pretty and definitely ready for spring!
Oooh... I don't have any of that paper to play with yet!! What a great example!! Thanks for sharing!!
