Just a little prayer

This weekend I made a batch of cards using the
sentiments from "Card Chatter-Sympathy".
This is the perfect set when you want to send words of encouragement
on a more serious note.
This card went to my brother to let him know he is in my thought and prayers.
Today, I am sharing a quick tutorial on how I used a simple mask to create this card.
First I stamped the sentiment and sprayed some re-inker with our spray pen...
then I laid a sticky note over the bottom sentiment.
Look carefully and you can see through the sticky note.
Then I stamped the bird image from "Fabulous You".

I love that you can see right through our blocks and acrylic stamps.
I knew exactly where to place the bird so I did not cover any of the sentiment.
Here is the finished piece...
This technique is simple but so helpful at times.
Thanks for visiting.
Tomorrow I will share the feminine twin to this card.

Love, love this masculine version, too! The touch of navy blue is so perfect for a manly design, and I adore the sanded, embossed cardstock base. Fabulous masking, too!
