Kraft-y Heart Blog Share, day 1

Time for another Kraft-y Heart Blog Share!
This month Kim and I decided to share projects created with "him" in mind.
Masculine cards are always the most challenging for me, how about you?
For my project today I'll share the card I made for DH for Father's Day.
While it is a bit late for Father's Day inspiration, you could easily
use this idea for a masculine "birthday" or "thinking of you" card.

I started with a Kraft base, which I cut with my Artiste Cartridge.
Then I added a panel of the houndstooth/Kraft from
This is a set of 20 double-sided 12 x 12 sheets, 2 each of 10 designs.
This piece is my favorite, always a sucker for houndstooth.

Then I stamped a free-style collage of words and images from the
"You're The Best" stamp set.
I love this set for guy cards.
I'll show you an image of all the stamps below.
Come on back tomorrow to see the rest of the Father's Day gift ensemble.
But first, please stop by the ever-so-creative Kim Hill's blog.
to see what she created for "him".

What a great card. I love how you use stamp sets and create art with them.
