Happy June!
New month, new Stamp of the Month blog hop time!
You can start here and hop along the links.
I really had no idea what direction I would go in for this blog hop project so I went to my
pile of "photos-to-scrap" and guess what was on top...photos of our Spring trip to Detroit.
The road trip theme of this stamp set was just perfect for my photos.
These photos were taken at the Henry Ford Museum.
I highly recommend it if you are in the Detroit area.
I used the Urban Paper Packet with a few Gold Fundamental Assortments tossed in.
Here's a pic pointing out the stamps I used in the first layout.
Also, I must give credit to
the designer, Virgina Nebel, of assignment of one
in the Scrapbook & Cards Today online class that I am currently taking.
I followed the basic layout provided in the PageMaps sketch and added the diagonal split in the background mat as shown in the class example. Fun stuff!
Now it's time to hop on over to the
to see what my cleverly, creative friend Marg created with this fun stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by!

That's so awesome - I'm taking this class as well! You did a fantastic job with the layout and I just love how Urban looks with this stamp set!
This is such a great layout. I love that each page can stand alone in creativity but they both go together. I love how things fall together when we go through our photos to scrap.
Love this layout, Lynn! The stamp set is fantastic with the urban color palette and mood. And the design challenge element is great too! Fun memories jump out of these pages!
You also rocked the Urban and this stamp set! Love both pages and agree with Shelly!!!! Way to go, Lynn!
Love this layout! The paper and stamp set are the perfect pair for pictures of the Ford Museum!
Wow! I think Urban and this stamp set were MADE for your photos! Perfect pairing! Your layout is just perfect!

What a GREAT layout! These photos were perfect with the stamp set. Don't you just look at a layout like this when you get it all finished and feel so happy? I do!
Oh for the love of HAPPY! Perfect photos, paper, stamped elements, and story!
The use of a diagonal element really adds interest. Very, very nice work!
Now how perfect are your Detroit photos with that paper and those stamps? Seriously that is a match made in heaven. I love the old timey car on your journaling block, and love the diagonal split of paper on the left page. The word strip and the little signs are adorable. Really loving the tag you added, too!
Super Cute layout Lynn. The photos are so perfect for this stamp set. Will check on the classes that you are taking. They sound wonderful. Great choice using Urban as well.
