Rose Blossom Blog Hop

Where did August 1st go?
It's already the 15th and that means it is time for another
Rose Blossom Blog Hop.
You can find the complete hop list at the fabulous blog
or you can just follow the links along the way!
This time we are featuring two NEW collections.
Uptown Fundamentals or Rustic Home Fundamentals.
Since I could not decide which one to do I decided to design a card for each,
using the same basic layout and elements.
Here is the Rustic Home Fundamental card...

And this one is a bit more dressed up in
Did you know you can receive either one of these "Fundamental" Basics paper packets for FREE?
When you purchase the Whimsy, Adventure, and Enchantment Fundamentals you will be prompted to add one of these packets for free.
You can read about the details of the August special promotion HERE.
You will definitely want to visit the blog, of my friend Marg,
where you will surely be inspired by some amazing artwork!
Next stop the Tator Patch!

Fun card facts: each card was "built" with a White Daisy Cardstock base, topped with a piece of patterned paper and then layered with a vellum piece from the corresponding collection.  The wreaths were cut with the new Flower Market Cricut Cartridge and adorned with a bow created with our new ribbon packs in Uptown and Rustic Home.

I have looked at each card three times, studied the details, and I still can't pick a favorite! They are both so beautiful and show such good use of the paper. I really like that you flipped the gold-striped vellum. That looks wonderful!!

Ok, though it goes against every fiber of my Kraft-lovin' being, I have to say LOVE the uptown card! The words on the pattern paper are perfect for the thinking of you. And I never pass up a little gold and glitter!:D

I love this one card two ways thing. It's a great way to show the flexibility of a design and the beautiful papers. I had a hard time picking between the two options too.

Oh, how gorgeous! I LOVE both of these looks, both the rustic and the elegant! The layered vellums add so much to the designs, and loving that touch of gold sparkle!

Both of these cards are so cute. The way you used the vellum over the patterned paper is just perfect. The Glitter sprigs around the sentiment on the Uptown card is a great accent. Nice job Lynn!

I just love me a simple wreath. Both of these cards took simple wreaths and make them simply awesome! Thanks for the inspiration!

Love that you couldn't decide between the two. Great comparison and very difficult to pick a fav! However, I'm going with Rustic Home because I totally adore that you embellished the wreath with twine! I'd love to add these to my selection at a Fall Card Buffet if you don't mind .... thanks!
