Beautiful Reasons

Happy Monday friends!
This week I am sharing cards created with the
Stamp of the Month
This sentiment hit home for me this weekend.
We had a freaky Saturday with power surges, bright lights, no lights and everything in between.
Come to find out, the electric wire to our house was broken in two places causing all kinds of strange things to happen.
We are thankful that our town repair man came promptly Sunday morning, diagnosed and fixed the problem within an hour.
We lost a few appliances (two air conditioners when we are having 90 degree weather)
but we are thankful that the "big ones", like our new kitchen appliances, tv and computers were all okay.
We were inconvenienced for a day or two and it made me realize how difficult it must be for those people dealing with the recent challenges caused by weather.
Lifting those people up in prayer.
And here is another card with the same design, just flipped horizontally.

Oh, sorry to hear about your electrical issues, Lynn! You are so right, though, in that it could have been so much worse, or even started a fire. Does remind us of how much we rely on our modern conveniences, doesn't it? Good to stop and count our blessings. Lovely cards! Love your idea of flipping the same design on its side!
