Wedding Gift

The theme at the Kraft Journal blog is
"Brides and Babies".
Have you played along yet?
In keeping with the theme, I will show you a wedding gift I made this summer.
Don't you love when you can use your papercrafting supplies for gifts?
I transformed this bargain aisle frame from Hobby Lobby...

(ps, did you see the price, $5!)

into this...

I took this photo of the couple at the reception and it fits perfectly with this frame.
Love that.
I used "For Always" Paper packet (perfect for weddings and classic themes).
Here is a detail shot of the cluster.

I used flowers from Bitty Blossom (retired) and Claire along with some rolled flowers that I created using the Artiste Cartridge.  I discovered that the Quilling Tool makes that job sooo much easier.  I also added one of the swirls from Sparkles Black Flourishes.
The doily image was stamped using the "Love Doily" stamp.
All supplies:  Close To My Heart and all in my stash!
I loved that I didn't have to shop for a thing once I found this awesome frame that needed a makeover.
Oh, and I learned something new about our Bonding Memories Glue, it works like a dream for projects like this.  I planned on using Mod Podge, but I tested a strip using Bonding Memories Glue on the back and it worked perfectly.  No bubbles or wrinkles to deal with.
I just used the applicator to spread the glue on the frame one section at a time.
I hope the couple likes this frame as much I liked making it for them.
Thanks for coming by today!
