Thanks to all who stopped by for our
"Laughing Lola" Blog Share.
You have until tonight to get a chance to win that "Lots of Love" stamp set
that I am giving away, details on the last post.
Today I am sharing a card that I made for
"homework".
I am enrolled in the Big Picture Classes
"Create and Share" workshop.
This week's lesson was to create "thinking of you" cards.
Since brand spankin' new CTMH papers on on their way to my bungalow I am trying to use up
some papers from my stash.
I dug into my pile of My Mind's Eye papers to create a card.
Once I got started I had a hard time stopping and made 8 cards for my card box.
I wanted to share this one with you to show you how I used the larger border stamps to stamp the die-cut hearts.
I die-cut 3 hearts, stamped them with the stamp below, then distressed only the edges with
Chocolate Ink.
You can really use any patterned stamp that is bigger than your die cut piece.
Here is the stamp set that I used for the hearts.
This set will remain on my stamping table to remind me to use it more!
Have a great weekend!

I love your card (those colors and prints are so pretty!), and I love that stamp set. It was just delivered to me today and I can't wait to ink it up-- so versatile! Thanks for sharing your creations! xoxo
Oh, I LOVE how you did the hearts here, Lynn! What a great way to use those border stamps. I have GOT to remember this technique! Love your design and color combo, too. The pop of orange is SO pretty!
