From the Heart

In the spirit of National Scrapbook Day
I thought I'd share one of my favorite layouts.
It's not a favorite because of the style, embellishments or craftiness of it,
but because it captures the memories of a heartfelt event.
This is my friend, Ann, who owns Just Plain Annie's Quilt Shop.
She is the kindest soul who opens her classroom to quilters, papercrafters, and the like.
On this day, a group of ladies, pictured below, made pillowcases for the
patients at Riley's Children's Hospital.
Look at all those fun, bright colors and prints.
Cierra, a local teen,  just got home from an extended stay there so they dedicated the event to her.
I left room for Annie to write her own journaling about this special day.
I thought this sentiment from Jillibean worked for this group of ladies.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
Thanks for stopping by!

Awww, what a wonderful layout, Lynn! And what a special day that was! I just love that all of you stitched up pillowcases for the children. They are indeed so bright and happy. And I love how bright and happy your layout is, too. The hanging flowers tied on the twine is fabulous. Love that little Jillibean accent, too!
