Give Thanks

The Close To My Heart Artiste Cricut Cartridge has a key for different holidays.
I have been creating with the "Thanksgiving" key.
For this banner I cut the "Give Thanks" sentiment.
Since the challenge at The Kraft Journal blog is
"Happy Harvest" I am linking this project up there.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart.
I started with a Kraft base which I cut from the Art Philosophy Cartridge.
I adhered that to a chipboard banner base and added a green scallop border which I stamped with the flourish stamp from "Harvest Happiness".
Flowers were cut with my two cartridges mentioned above.
Here is a close up...
I have to give a shout out to my team leader Brenda Rose.
Brenda made me a banner filled with rolled flowers and that's where I got the inspiration for this piece.  You can check out Brenda's blog here.
Other embellishments:
Antique Gold Mini-Medley, Brown/Tan Sparkles, Just Bloom Paper Shapes (leaves), Garden Wooden Shapes, Harvest Baker's Twine, and Dark Chocolate Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.
You can shop for all these yummy embellishments and more on my website
If you shop this month and join my "Countdown to Christmas" Party you will be entered into a drawing where one lucky shopper will receive Hostess Rewards and a gift from me!
Check this post for the awesome deal on the Stamp of the Month plus one stamp set at 50%.
What a great time to order and treat yourself to a little holiday crafting fun!

Just lovely! I was playing with my Artiste and making a banner, but got side-tracked by a friend of a friend's wedding stuff. Can't wait to get back to it. You've inspired me again!

You are so smart - I rarely even think of anything for Thanksgiving but a card. What fun flowers too ! You have really inspired me to THINK MORE, and not just do more. Have a great week, Lynn !! And as always thanks for playing along at The Kraft Journal !!

Hi Lynn! This project is absolutely STUNNING, and I'm SO glad that you've joined us this week at The Kraft Journal. Your use of Kraft paper is lovely, and I really love your sweet flowers. In fact, I will be doing a tutorial later this month at The Kraft Journal about making hand-cut flowers, and hope you will enjoy it. Yours are amazing!

Also, I'd like to invite you to play along with us at Word Art Wednesday here:
www.wordartwednesday.blogspot.com
where our theme is always Anything Goes and we welcome your sweet art in any of our challenges.

Hope you're having a relaxing and blessed weekend, and hope to see you again soon. THanks so much for joining us.
Blessings,

Oh, I am so glad to see the whole of this! It is absolutely gorgeous, and it's a brilliant piece of Thanksgiving decor! I love it, and I hope I see a lot more banner pieces come from the bungalow!
