Real LIfe Craft Dash

If you are a regular reader you know that I like to join in on the
10 Minute Craft Dash from time to time.
It is a fun challenge blog where you time yourself to get a project done in 10 minutes.
Well, this Sunday I had a real life craft dash!
Fifteen minutes before I had to leave for church I remembered that I had not
wrapped a gift for a bridal shower that was following the service.
I ran down to my studio and grabbed a Kraft gift bag as I always have those on hand.
Then I grabbed some things that were sitting on my scrap table and came up with this gift bag.

My friend Gia, just sent me some summer themed SS journaling cards and the cute little anchor charm was in there.  The striped paper was a scrap and just so happened to match.

After creating the bag I jumped to my stamping table and made this card.

I used two Close To My Heart stamp sets.
The Tommy WOTG set (anchor) and the very useful
"Love Life" set.
You may recognize the folded strips scraps from the layout and card that I recently shared.
On the inside, I wrote a sentiment about remembering to "always be the other's anchor".
I never would have thought to use all this for a bridal shower ensemble but it really matched the fun, spirited, quirky style of this couple.
I even had time to take a few quick photos and I made it to church on time!
Good thing the 10 Minute Craft Dash gave me practice for a real life craft dash, lol!

There is just no way I could have done that so beautifully in that short time! You are just so talented, Lynn!
