Rose BlossomGarden Challenge Time

This month the DT created a project using the
"Z" key from the ARTBOOKING Cricut Cartridge from Close To My Heart.
This layout is a complete lift from the layout in the ARTBOOKING handbook.
I love the ease of doing the 12 x 12 layouts.
You just set your dial for 11" and all the pieces cut to scale.
No guessing how big to make the photo mat or the "hello" cut.
Just set your dial one time and switch out your paper.
If you want to change the size, just switch to your "real dial size" button and select the size you want.  I love that.
There are tons of overlays like this grid too.
I used Babycakes paper (not just for babies!)
and a few stamps.
The arrow is from "One-Way Borders", super trendy.,
The "You are my HAPPY" sentiment is from the
September National Stamping Month special available through September.
I'll share more about that this week.
Let's just say super duper deal!
Now hop on over to the Rose Blossom Garden blog for more inspiration and details on how you can join our challenge.
We have made it easier because all you have to do is share a
"School" themed project (card, gifty, or layout).
More details on the blog.
Now for a little side note (if you managed to hang in there with me reading all this):
I made this layout as soon as I got my cartridge because I knew I wanted to use it for our
"first day of school pictures on the porch" tradition soooo I bought
DH an orange/brown plaid shirt to match my paper!
Does that make me too obsessed with scrapbooking?
Have a wonderful weekend!

Hahaha.....I'm sure almost all of us scrapbookers have coordinated our photos with our papers at least once...;) This is adorable, Lynn! Love the grid design!

Baby Cakes papers are not just for babies lol, love it! What a great challenge to use the Z key & awesome results Lynn. I'll have to pick a key & try that myself!

Hi Lynn! I love what you created here and how you incorporated babycakes into an everyday page. It's perfect! Isn't it funny how we do that to our family....make them wear things to match our pages? We are true scrappers lol
