Technique Tuesday

Following my "Fall in Love with Stamping" theme this week,
I would like to share some tags that I made with the
September Stamp of the Month.

I was inspired by a great tutorial in the latest edition of PaperCrafts magazine.
First, I stamped the SOTM in Desert Sand on manila shipping tags.
Then, I clear embossed some leaves in a random pattern.
Next, I stamped the large flowers in Sunset.
I used my TIm Holtz distress tool to rub some ink all over the tags.
Then, I misted the tags with Saddle Re-Inker in one of our spray pens.
After letting them dry, I added some Burlap Ribbon and
Harvest Baker's Twine.
Here is a look at the current SOTM...

It is called "Poster Tidings" and it is so cool and trendy!
I love that you can cut it apart or use it large for a strong accent.
As always, the Stamp of the Month is available for
$17.95 or only $5 with a $50 order.
And don't forget if you spend $50, you qualify for the special
September National Stamping Month trio,
"You Are My Happy" for only $10.
September is a great month to stock up on stamps or order those sets that are on your wish list.  It's like getting yourself an early Christmas present!
You can check it all out HERE.
Tomorrow I will share some cards I made with these stamps using an ombre technique.
