Thankful

I really am thankful for my job!
This is year 26 as an elementary art teacher.
Hubby and I still take "pictures on the porch" on the first day of school,
even though are kiddos have been out of school since 2009.
This is a layout that I created for the
BPC "Stashbusters" Class.
I was using up some alphas to create the misted background at the top.
I laid corrugated alphas on the Kraft CS and then spritzed around them
using "Saddle" Re-Inker in one of our
spray pens.
The papers are from Echo Park.
The title was cut with one of my CTMH Cartridges.
In addition to my "day job",
I am so thankful to be a
Close To My Heart consultant.
It has been a great creative adventure.
If you think you would be interested in learning more about being a
Close To My Heart consultant, please let me know and I will be happy to contact you!

What a wonderful layout, Lynn! 26 years as a teacher is an amazing accomplishment! Having had kiddos go through the school system, I really know the value of finding great, caring, and enthusiastic teachers like you! Fabulous design! Really love the text print and love the misted letters at the top. So perfect for a school themed page.

What a fabulous layout! So you started teaching at age 12 then? ;-) What an awesome accomplishment. I would have loved having you as an art teacher, I think--I wish you were out here to teach my kids. :-)
