Krafty Heart Blog Share, Day 3

It is the final day of our Krafty Heart Blog Share.
Hope you were inspired to pick up some stamps and create this week!
Today I am actually sharing the very first card I made with
Taste of Summer.
It is kind of suprising to me that I was drawn to the purple paper since I am usually not a
"purple girl", lol.
This card is based off of Pattern 20 in
I added the "hello friend" stamp because I just thought it went perfectly with this paper.
I stamped it in Thistle ink.
I like the way the purple and yellow pop!
For the next card, I used the same paper only flipped them to the opposite side.

The slightly patterned prints on the "B" side are done is such vivid colors that they are so fun to work with for summer cards and layout.
Speaking of purple,
you must hop on over to
to see what my Krafty Heart cohort Kim created for a final blog share day.
Only a few days left to order your own
Taste of Summer
paper packet or stamp set.
You can find all the details HERE.
Well folks, this is the last full week of school.
Two more days next week and then I am hitting the studio full-time, yay!
Then it will really feel like summer in at my bungalow!

So cute Lynn. It's been so fun seeing what the Krafty Hearts have created. Love the idea of changing up the same design to create two very different cards but with the same paper. Very clever and adorable.

Really pretty! I'm with you, I tend to shy away from purple, but I really do love it here! Love it paired with the bright citrus yellow here!
