Scrappy Saturday

Hello, for this week's post of Scrappy Saturday I would like to introduce

"Swan Lake".

It's one of the new paper lines and Workshop Your Way featured in the

Holiday Expressions.

I love the it!

Even though my photos were taken in the heat of summer and this paper has a Fall vibe I thought it worked.

 These layouts were created directly from the WYW Kit with a few tweaks.

I will add some journaling about how thankful I am for my sister and my daughter and our fun trips, like this one at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

For my local readers,

this is one of the layouts we will do in the October class.

I apologize for the wonky stripes in the photograph.

I can assure you my scrapbooking skills are much better than my photography skills, lol.

The photograph on the bottom left is actually a photo of a quilt we saw in the special exhibit.

It made me think of this paper and inspired some ideas for cards which I will share later.

And of course, the LOVE sculpture behind us is quite well-known and created by

Robert Indiana.

I will be teaching my students about it next month so it will be fun to show them some of my pics.
