Scrappy Saturday

Welcome to Scrappy Saturday.
I signed up for  year two, SCT365 online class,
where you get an assignment each month that includes a layout and card sketch.
Here's my layout for January, wow, and it isn't even the middle of the month yet.
I really like the background of using the blocks of solid cardstock in this sketch.
The colors I used are Glacier and Charcoal.
The example had a stitched grid where you see my stamped paint splatters.
I just was not in the mood to get my sewing machine revved up so opted to stamp.
I do not usually cut up my 4 x 6 photos but I have to admit I love the close ups of
my daughter and her special guy.  I was so proud of JoAnna at this event she helped plan and execute to raise funds for their mural project.
What a wonderful night to relive, and that's why I scrapbook!
Have a good weekend.
After being grounded with the weather, we are venturing out of town for some shopping and to see The Post.

That page is so inspiring. My big goal this year is to get some of my family photos off my computer and onto real photographs to scrapbook with. I am behind so many years and really need to catch up. You are an inspirations, Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Please come over and help me celebrate 6 years of blogging with my anniversary Give-A-Way.
Again thank you,
Connie :)

Really eye catching layout, Lynn! I love the colors, and really love the photo arrangement. The cropped photos are very eye catching! Love the color blocked background, too!
