Rose Blossom Garden Challenge

It is time for a new challenge at the
For Challenge #3 we used the "P" key
on the Close To My Heart Cricut Artiste Cartridge.
I decided to create the merry-go-round.
Here is my card...
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE those "Dream Pop" colors.
The sentiment is from the May Stamp of the Month.
Here is a close-up of the carousel.

See the cool embossed stripes on the hot pink cardstock?
Each colored CS in the set has a different embossed pattern.

This is probably the fussiest-cut card I have ever made and I feel like it is the 'plain Jane' of the group.  Wait til you see what the other DT members created!
You can find it HERE.
Thanks for visiting and Happy May Day!

12 Days of Christmas, Day 10

I just couldn't put away those snowmen!
Once again, I used the cheery color combo of
Cranberry and Lagoon Close To My Heart Exclusive Inks
to stamp these "Flakey Friends".
For this project I cut out the pieces to the little box using the
Here is a hint about making this box:  set the size to the height of the box.
For instance these were cut at 1 inch, making the box 1 inch tall with the
top around 3 x 3 inches.
This is just the right size for one of my favorite holiday treats...

You can get a completely different look by changing the color and the stamps.
These boxes were stamped in
Juniper, Cashmere, and Slate using the
"Merry and Bright" set.
"Joy" sentiment is from "Christmas Joy"

Once lucky reader who leaves a comment will receive the
"Merry and Bright'" set along with some blog candy!

12 Days of Christmas, Day 4

Today I would like to show you some fun, little gift boxes
that I cut with my Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

It is so easy to create unique gift presentations with this cartridge!
The Colonial White snowflake and the ornament were also cut with that cart.
The Kraft snowflake was cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.
All supplies are from Close To My Heart.
The stamped images are from the December
Stamp of the Month "Year of Cheer".  You can find it HERE.
It has adorable images and sentiments for each month of the year.
I used Juniper and Desert Sand ink.

Here is a closer look...

I will show you how easy it was to create the second box.
Just cut...
Score...

Assemble and glue.
Love how easy that is!
Since this is Day 4 of our Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share I welcome you to leave a comment for a chance to win some blog candy, which includes a beautiful Christmas CTMH stamp set.
I also invite you to visit  my talented friend, Kim,
at Violets and Sunshine where you will find inspiration and another GIVEAWAY!

MIni-Albums

I am loving the mini-album cuts on the
Cricut Artiste Cartridge from Close To My Heart.
These came together so quickly because I used the same design as the mini I made for our Rose Blossoms Blog Hop.
I used Echo Park papers, stickers and brads from the
"Seasons Greetings" line 2011.
I would have preferred using Kraft CS but my supply is getting
dangerously low (gasp, I know!) so I dug into my stash and used some Coredinations Core Color CS.
Here is a peek inside...
I hope to sell these at my Winter Wonderland craft booth.
In just a few days,
the Kraft-y Heart duo of Kim and I will be sharing all kinds of
Close To My Heart inspiration.

Just notes

This note holder was cut out using the
Close To My Heart Cricut Artiste cartridge.
The notes inside were made on 4 x 8 Kraft bases
adorned by Scholastic papers.
Have I mentioned how much I love these papers?
These cards sit on my desk at school.

Here are two cards,
I'll share some more tomorrow.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart.
