Five Favorites and a Giveaway!

From Monday through Wednesday of this week I will share photos of a set of

five cards that happen to be some of my favorites from this season.

All of the cards were inspired by a page in the last

print issue of PaperCrafts magazine.

If you flip through the mag you will know exactly which page inspired me.

Krafty Hearts Blog Share

It's time for another Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share.

My Close To My Heart team has been busy creating with the 

June Stamp of the Month and we

have a few projects to share with you over the next few days.

And we even have a prize this month!  

First the projects, then the details.

I stamped the floral background and the field of flowers in Smoothie and the sentiment in Outdoor Denim.

I colored in a few random flowers with our markers.

The chipboard flower is from the Chantilly accessories and the ribbon is snippet of

Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon.

This one is a Z-fold card using the tulip as the focal point.

I used the Claire Paper Packet for this one.

Love that paper and added a "happy birthday" sentiment from Card Chatter.

The final day of our Kraft-y Hearts Blog Share

and the last day to leave comments for a chance to win some

For the final day I had to make something with Kraft hearts,

so here is my banner.

All pieces were cut with the

Artiste Cricut Cartridge.

That cartridge would make an amazing Christmas present for a crafty 

person on your list, or yourself!

I have to share that I rarely used my Cricut until I got the Close To My Heart cartridges.

Now I use it all the time and my punches and dies are gathering dust.

The best part about it is you can cut any shape (700 images on each cart) 

at any size you need.

And they coordinate with so many of our stamps.

Love that too!

Inside the two little heart pockets on the end I tucked in two 

tag ornaments.

12 Days of Christmas, Day 10

I just couldn't put away those snowmen!

Once again, I used the cheery color combo of

Cranberry and Lagoon Close To My Heart Exclusive Inks

to stamp these "Flakey Friends".

For this project I cut out the pieces to the little box using the

Artiste Cricut Cartridge.

Here is a hint about making this box:  set the size to the height of the box.

For instance these were cut at 1 inch, making the box 1 inch tall with the 

top around 3 x 3 inches.

This is just the right size for one of my favorite holiday treats...

You can get a completely different look by changing the color and the stamps.

These boxes were stamped in 

Juniper, Cashmere, and Slate using the 

"Merry and Bright" set.

"Joy" sentiment is from "Christmas Joy"

Today I would like to show you some fun, little gift boxes

that I cut with my Cricut Artiste Cartridge.

It is so easy to create unique gift presentations with this cartridge!

The Colonial White snowflake and the ornament were also cut with that cart.

The Kraft snowflake was cut with the Art Philosophy Cartridge.

All supplies are from Close To My Heart.

The stamped images are from the December

Stamp of the Month "Year of Cheer".  You can find it HERE.

It has adorable images and sentiments for each month of the year.

I used Juniper and Desert Sand ink.

Here is a closer look...

I will show you how easy it was to create the second box.
