When I saw this beautiful inspiration photo at
I knew I had to play along.
This is my favorite season and I love the colors you see here in the Midwest as the leaves change.
Here is my card which I am entering in the
Freestyle Collage category.
I created my own background paper and paper for the leaves by inking up
my acrylic block and spraying with some Honey (CTMH yellow) Re-Inker in a spray pen.
You can see the technique "A Bit of Blot" on page 55 of the Close To My Heart Annual Inspirations" Book.
Then I printed it on White Daisy cardstock in random patterns.
Once it dried I stamped the leaves and then fussy cut them out.
The frame is cut from the CTMH Cricut Artbooking Cartridge.
The pretty green background is Sweet Leaf CS from the
Whimsy Fundamentals collectionl
It reminded me of the falling leaves in the photo.
I added a few silver sequins for sparkle!
I hope your first day of Fall has some sparkle as well!
