Love and Jars

This card was created for a special birthday sister.
I was inspired by the photo at
I am linking this up under the Clean & Layered Style.
I brought in some of the linear and chrome elements by choosing the chevron woodgrain paper and the striped vellum.
All cuts were created with the Flower Market Cartridge.
All supplies from Close To My Heart.
I loved the colors in the inspiration photo and I knew it would be perfect for the birthday gift.
My sister likes to garden so I bought this canning jar vase set because it has the
"frog" top, perfect for holding her fresh cut blooms.
I filled them with Watecolor Pencils because she likes to create cards too.
Here's a photo of the card with the gift.
Let's get this party (and the weekend) started!
Thanks for visiting.

Oooh, what a fabulous gift, Lynn! I LOVE that mason jar vase set you found, and how brilliant to fill it with the watercolor pencils! And SUCH an awesome card you made to go along! Totally nailed the inspiration photo elements. LOVE the jar die cut from glitter paper and backed with the vellum. Looks amazing with your layered blossom and woodgrain print!
